Thinking Can Be a Hoot!
A Little Fine Print

    Sometimes, the wisest advice
comes from those who don't look or think like us.

(And, that has happened to me more than once.
Thank heavens I learned how to find my own mentors/teachers.  It's one of the advantages of knowing how to find good people on your own and not having to hold up a sign hoping they will find you.  I am so grateful for some of the teachers and mentors I've found who have/had so much more experience than I.)

This site is dedicated to the curious young students
with personal initiative upon whose ingenuity and problem solving
skills we will all depend for our futures.

It does not require much money
 to change the world...
all it requires is a little ingenuity
and some people who care.

For any bright young person who
has ever been picked on or demeaned
for wanting to learn something important
 or try something new,

STOP believing those who like picking on you!!!!
Go find nicer people who respect you
and together find something better to do!
Who knows
if you cure cancer or alzheimers,
 you might even become
the real world super hero for hundreds of
 millions of intelligent people.

There are so many important things we need to do!
Pick one - because loads and loads of people
are truly counting on you!!!

And, wasting your time listening to
 mean people who like
 being mean or
disrespecting you has no value to anyone but them.

Why?
Because, ignorance is not a badge of honor.
It is very, very expensive for those who choose not to learn
and anyone crazy enough to listen to them.
The ignorant always pay the bill,
they just don't know how they pay the bill.

From those of us who have been in the places where
we were the "wrong" sex, the "wrong" color, the
"wrong" age, the "wrong" background, the "wrong" beliefs
or any other "wrong" superficial characteristic,

what we have learned is simply to be sad
for those who don't have the capability
of looking beyond the surface.

There is nothing we can do about the choices
they have already made about us.

More importantly, there are so many other
worthwhile pursuits in this world,
than to spend it on people
who expect us to be "popular" for them.

Really, Really Fine Print:  A hero is only as good as his or her helpers and, the quality of the helpers usually decides the level of success.  Want to know the best secret of all?  Smart followers always choose whom they follow......
so, whom have you chosen?
